Industrial Engineer

Professional Summary

We are seeking an Industrial Engineer with 1–5 years of experience to join our team in a remote capacity. The ideal candidate will possess mandatory hands-on shopfloor experience and expertise in Lean principles, process optimization, line balancing, and Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to drive operational efficiency and eliminate waste across manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Process & Line Optimization: Study assembly lines and operational processes to identify improvement opportunities in alignment with Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Time Study & Line Balancing: Perform elemental breakdowns, video time studies across stations and operators, VA/NVA/RNVA analysis, current state line balancing, and Muri analysis.
• Value Stream Mapping (VSM): Construct Current and Future State VSMs to identify bottlenecks, waste, and inefficiencies; perform capacity analysis and current baselining.
• Continuous Improvement Roadmap: Identify process and productivity enhancement opportunities, presenting Level 1, 2, and 3 improvement reports and strategic roadmaps.
• Standardization: Develop and re-write Standard Work Instructions and Video Work Instructions.
• Root Cause Analysis & Kaizen: Conduct root cause analysis for defects, quality failures, and downtimes; support corrective actions and Kaizen implementations.
• Fixture Design: Provide technical support for fixture design based on operational requirements.

Technical Requirements (Must-Have)

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience: 1–5 years of industrial or manufacturing engineering experience.
• Shopfloor Experience: Mandatory hands-on experience on the shopfloor.
