Zuora Systems Analyst - Revenue Recognition

Professional Summary

We are seeking a Zuora Systems Analyst / Consultant specializing in Revenue Recognition to configure, integrate, and support financial systems. This role is open to candidates who are 100% Remote in the USA, Canada, or Nearshore (LATAM). The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in Zuora (Billing & Revenue) and Workday, along with strong communication skills to interface directly with finance and accounting teams.

Key Responsibilities

• System Configuration & Integration: Configure revenue rules for over-time vs. point-in-time recognition. Manage and monitor data flow from sales tools into Zuora Billing, Zuora Revenue, and core accounting systems like Workday.
• Operations & Month-End Close Support: Monitor error workbenches to unblock transactions and adjustments. Execute automated revenue jobs and resolve posting errors during financial close.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Write custom SQL and ZOQL queries to reconcile discrepancies, locate missing data, and generate accuracy-driven revenue reports.
• Business Requirements & Design: Collaborate with finance stakeholders to translate complex accounting rules into technical system designs and workflow specifications.

Technical Requirements (Must-Have)

• Strong hands-on experience with Zuora (Zuora Revenue and Zuora Billing).
• Practical experience with Workday integrations (Workday v1.5 preferred).
• Solid domain understanding of Revenue Recognition concepts and financial close workflows.
• Proficiency writing SQL and ZOQL queries.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Desired Skills (Nice-to-Have)

• Prior experience in nearshore or multi-regional financial operations.
• Familiarity with enterprise SaaS billing and automated accounting systems.
