We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 3+ years of professional experience to join our team onsite in El Paso, Texas. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in mechanical engineering, practical troubleshooting capabilities, and hands-on experience supporting mechanical equipment and industrial systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to ensure operational efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the installation, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of mechanical equipment and systems.
- Analyze mechanical failures and technical issues to identify practical and effective root-cause solutions.
- Review technical schematics, CAD drawings, user manuals, and engineering documentation.
- Participate in preventive and corrective maintenance activities across plant and equipment operations.
- Assist with equipment inspections, testing, commissioning, and diagnostic procedures.
- Identify opportunities to enhance equipment reliability, system performance, safety, and operational efficiency.
- Work collaboratively with engineering, operations, maintenance, and production teams.
- Prepare and maintain accurate technical procedures, inspection records, and engineering reports.
- Follow applicable safety protocols, engineering standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Technical Requirements (Must-Have)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in mechanical engineering or related industrial technical roles.
- Language: Good conversational and professional English communication skills.
- Hands-on Experience: Practical background working with mechanical systems, equipment maintenance, manufacturing, or industrial operations.
- Documentation Skills: Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, engineering specifications, and technical manuals.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Mobility: Willingness and availability to relocate and work onsite in El Paso, Texas.
Desired Skills (Nice-to-Have)
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or heavy production environments.
- Hands-on exposure to mechanical systems such as pumps, motors, compressors, or HVAC/utility systems.
- Experience with equipment installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Familiarity with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and predictive/preventive maintenance methodologies.
- Proficiency with CAD tools such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement frameworks, quality processes, and workplace safety protocols.
